THE PREMISE / WHY THIS ROOM EXISTS

The city sounds different when nobody is performing.

Groundlevel is Rio’s moving-image home for conversations about Detroit culture, mental health, everyday life, and what success actually costs. It is built for one-on-one honesty and small rooms where two to four people can go past the answer they prepared.

The tone is hopeful without pretending life is simple. Less motivational speech, more proof that people are still finding ways forward.
